С 16 по 21 октября была проведена декада, посвященная 100-летию Великой российской революции 1917 г. В группах 1 курса всех специальностей были проведены лекции, состоялась встреча с активными общественными деятелями: Орловым Николаем Ивановичем (первым секретарем горкома партии КПРФ) и Малкиной Нелли Алексеевной (депутатом Каменской городской думы трех созывов).

Студенты получили информацию о событиях октября 1917 года и других ключевых явлениях истории СССР, непосредственно связанных с периодом революции. Были затронуты актуальные вопросы истории как прошлой, так и современной, показана важность формирования у современной молодежи активной гражданской позиции и патриотизма.
