21 февраля студенты исторического клуба «Поиск» ЛиТЖТ-филиала РГУПС в рамках проекта по гражданско-патриотическому воспитанию приняли участие в поездке в г. Каменск-Шахтинский, где посетили музейную комнату локальных конфликтов при Каменск-Шахтинском районном отделении РРО ООО ИВА «Инвалиды войны».

Во время встречи с ребятами председатель организации, участник войн в Афганистане и Чечне, майор запаса – Юрий Григорьевич Тимашов – познакомил их с экспозициями, освящающими героические страницы истории Родины. Наши поисковики с большим интересом слушали рассказ, сопровождаемый показом панорам, об истории и роли казачества на Дону в годы Первой мировой войны, во время Великой Отечественной войны.

Особого внимания заслуживают стенды с фотографиями, рассказывающие об участии ОКСВ в Афганистане, о войнах в Чечне, и экспонаты в виде боевых трофеев, собранных со времён афганских и чеченских военных событий. Глядя на них, подержав в своих руках, ребята ещё раз соприкоснулись с историей, как бы вернулись в то не простое для нашей страны время, прочувствовали его.

В завершении этой значимой встречи все собравшиеся почтили память молодых солдат-каменчан, погибших во время выполнения своего интернационального долга в Афганистане, в Чеченских войнах.
