Акция «СПЕШИТЕ ДЕЛАТЬ ДОБРО»
9 апреля 2016 года группа студентов Лиховского техникума с благотворительной акцией посетила Центр «Матронушка» в поселке Коксовый Ростовской области.
Центр «Матронушка» помогает сотням людей: беременным женщинам, одиноким мамам с детьми, инвалидам, престарелым, многодетным семьям, беженцам и всем, кого постигла беда.

Создательница центра – Ольга Николаевна Пивоварова. «Мама Оля», как называют ее подопечные. В 2014 году Ольга Пивоварова, медсестра по образованию, сестра милосердия по призванию, была удостоена знака губернатора Ростовской области «За милосердие и благотворительность» – «за добросовестное и эффективное исполнение мероприятий, связанных с организацией приема и размещения граждан, вынужденно покинувших территорию Украины». А в 2015-м – приза зрительских симпатий на VI международном фестивале «За жизнь» в номинации «Помощь» – за проект «Многофункциональная помощь», который реализует приют «Матронушка».
Центр уникален тем, что он полностью работает по принципу самоуправления и самообслуживания: все живут, как в большой семье, и, как в любой большой семье, каждый трудится на благо центра и всех проживающих.

Студенты техникума подготовили небольшой концерт для проживающих в приюте, передали собранную преподавателями и студентами гуманитарную помощь, но самое глубокое впечатление произвело личное общение с постояльцами приюта.
